Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon. As an avid 5K runner but certainly Verified Purchase. This is a great book! It is a high quality book with tons of different programs and pace charts. Chapters discuss topics such as: health information, equipment, the run-walk-run method which, it should be noted, is the hallmark of his method , using the Magic Mile to help estimate the appropriate race pace, programs "to finish" and programs for time goals, drills, speed training, race day timetables, running from, incorporating walking, using running to reduce body fat, nutrition information, and cross-training.
